'Coronation Street's Jerry is set for a shock when he has a heart attack after a confrontation with a gang of thugs.
According to the show's official website, the character, played by Michael Starke, will take ill after chasing a gang through the streets.
Speaking about filming the scenes, the actor said: "We had medical people on set with us to make sure what we did was right and make it look authentic."
"It's brought home to him in no uncertain terms that he's not indestructible," he said.
